Teddy Daniels WEARS 11 mini-medals on clothing and DISPLAYS 13 medals and ribbons on his home wall display, visible on podcasts and FaceBook videos.
REALITY – Teddy Daniels earned 8 medals and ribbons, plus the CIB / Combat Infantryman Badge, NOT the 11 he wears, NOT the 13 he displays.

1 – April 8, 2022 – FOIA email from a US Army spokesman, listing 8 medals earned, plus the Combat Infantryman Badge (CIB), as well as other basic information about E-4 SPC Ted Daniels and his 3 years active duty service in the US Army.
NOTE – This FOIA email was NOT noticed nor reviewed against the medals and ribbons Teddy Daniels wears and displays until November 2022, 6 months AFTER Teddy Daniels lost in the May 2022 GOP primary election for Pennsylvania Lt. Governor. Gubernatorial candidate retired Army COL Doug Mastriano should have been the 1st to “vet the vet”, and verify Teddy Daniels military service and medals worn in public in the 2022 campaign trail. Wayne County GOP and PA state GOP committees also failed to vet and verify anything on his bio. Teddy Daniels fooled everyone.
Worse, Teddy Daniels still wears the SAME 11 mini-medals in public, and displays the SAME 13 medals and ribbons, into 2025 in North Carolina, and his new run for “Teddy Daniels for Dare County Sheriff 2026”.
2 – March 30, 2023 – Full FOIA from the Department of the Army, in conjunction with the NPRC National Personnel Records Center. Contains a redacted DD-214, that again lists 8 medals earned, plus the Combat Infantryman Badge (CIB). Also, an assortment of detailed information about E-4 SPC Ted Daniels and his 3 years active duty service in the US Army. More conclusions follow below.

NOTE – The reason these 2023 full FOIA records were requested, then made public, is that Teddy Daniels, instead of being honest and telling the truth, and removing his unearned medals, after public pressure based on the original Army Spokesman FOIA email, Teddy Daniels instead resorted to attempting this stunt on Twitter / X.
Teddy Daniels claimed other veterans are wrong, and that he has these four “medals certificates” to justify his wearing 3 Army Commendation Medals and 2 Army Achievement Medals, when the 1st FOIA (and of course the subsequent 2nd FOIA and DD-214) clearly shows Teddy Daniels earned 1 Army Commendation Medal, NOT 3, and ZERO, NOT 2, Army Achievement Medals.
Nor was Teddy Daniels ever awarded the Army Overseas Service Ribbon. Most of his unit received this, but not Teddy Daniels, as he returned to the USA early due to medevac, NOT for “injuries due to surgeries in combat” (his 1 graze wound and frag speckle injuries were fully healed in 14 days), but for his aggravated foot and ankle injury, from tripping over the rock in that viral YouTube video.
As a result of the above stunt by Teddy Daniels….. 6, then 10, then 1 dozen military veterans were consulted about these “medals certificates”, and sent the large view JPG files (shown below) to carefully review.
Among the veterans, including several career Officers, 1 career Warrant Officer, and also career Senior NCOs, NONE of the veterans who reviewed these documents (below) vouched for all 4, due to errors noticed in orders numbers, mismatching signatures, and other grammatical errors, that no US Army unit would ever produce and approve, requiring a unit clerk to start over and fix these types of errors.
The consensus was only 1 or 2 of these 4 could possibly be legitimate, and the others are fabricated, faked, and/or forged. Hence, the full FOIA was requested, which subsequently double verified, not only with the DD-214, but ALSO triple verified with the DA Form 638 for his 1 earned Army Commendation Medal (see Block 8 indicating “NO (previous) AWARDS”), the universal conclusion now is that only 1 of these 4 Teddy Daniels medals certificates is legitimate and verified.

NOTE – For YEARS, Teddy Daniels has been telling war tales, that are directly contradicted by his very own FOIA military service records. As you will see below, claims by Teddy Daniels of “I was in a shit ton of gunfights”, “I won a bunch of gunfights”, and “I killed a bunch of terrorists” are proven FALSE and IMPOSSIBLE in the full FOIA service records provided by the NPRC / National Personnel Records Center.
Because Teddy Daniels FAILED to have, view, or review his own military service records BEFORE he set out on years of telling tales far beyond the examples above, Teddy Daniels ALSO FAILED to realize that his (earned) Purple Heart Medal and his (earned) Combat Infantryman Badge / CIB, were awarded for actions on THE SAME DAY, April 25, 2012, the SAME DAY Teddy Daniels chose to put a Go-Pro camera on his helmet, and make a video in Afghanistan, that ultimately went viral.
The 2 permanent orders above, side by side, PROVE that April 25, 2012 was the 1st day, and subsequently the ONLY DAY, that Teddy Daniels had ever directly faced the enemy in “combat” in Afghanistan (making himself a distant valley sniper target actually qualifies as combat), and that the many YEARS of Teddy Daniels telling tales of heroism, gunfights, and killing on the campaign trail, in FaceBook videos, and on podcasts…. ALL are proven IMPOSSIBLE and FALSE.
